| We are always enthusiastic about brokering the modern Pearson 36 built from 1984 through 1990. They are one of our favorite designs: Roomy - 6'6" headroom, FAST, excellent windward performance, comfortable, strong, simple - easy to maintain, large enclosed aft cabin, large aft head and shower, lots of storage space, excellent engine / stuffing box access.

Accomodations
Accommodates a total of seven in three cabins with two forward in a "V" berth
Three in the main salon. The dinette table converts to a double berth with a single settee berth opposite
Two aft in the doulbe aft cabin.
The interior is varnished teak with varnished teak and holly sole. The upholstery is blue velour. Many hatches and ports make the interior bright and airy.
The forward cabin features a "V"-berth with new custom "hinged" latex mattress purchased in '00. There is a bureau to port and hanging locker to starboard; opening hatch overhead with sunshade; (2) opening ports and for privacy the cabin has a door. Windsock for catching a breeze. Water holding tank located beneath the mattress.
The main salon is located amidships with a "U-shaped" dinette which converts to a large double berth accommodating two when the teak table is lowered. A single straight settee is to port. Storage lockers and shelves are located above and outboard. Additional storage can be found under the seat cushions and in a port side chest of drawers with a liquor cabinet on the bottom.
The oversized aft cabin is starboard with hanging locker and large berth which sleeps two. Privacy door seperates it feomt the galley. Storage drawer is located at the foot of the berth. One overhead hatch and two opening ports.

Chair swings out of the way when not in use. Serial GPS computer with interface cable.

Engine / Mechanical
The engine is a fresh water cooled diesel 30 HP Yanmar 3HM35F located with access from 3 sides under the galley sinks. The propeller has two blades. A new cutlass bearing was installed and the engine was realigned to its drive shaft in Spring '00. Engine controls are conveniently located in the cockpit. Exhaust mixing elbow was replaced in 2001. Stuffing box was repacked in June '02. A new Ballmar 010-70-110 Alternaotr and MC-612-3 Stage voltage regualtor were added in May '93.
